How to Record Webcam on Windows
You may need to explain something to a client or student, but you are unable to meet with them face to face. Fortunately, you have a solution in the form of Wondershare UniConverter, an outstanding webcam recorder. Using your desktop's integrated or external webcam, you may quickly and effortlessly record yourself. Users can also customize recording options such as output resolution, frame rate, and format. It also allows you to edit the recording by adding subtitles, editing, converting, compressing, and other options.
Start Wondershare UniConverter and then go to the left pane and select Screen Recorder. Select Webcam Recorder from the drop-down menu. If your machine has this capability, the Webcam Recorder should start automatically.
If you can't open the Camera Recorder function, your webcam driver is probably out of date. To do so, right-click the Start menu or the Windows logo in the bottom-left corner. Right-click your integrated webcam in the Device Manager, then enter the Cameras tab. After that, select Update Driver and then Search automatically for drivers. Finally, go to Windows Upgrade and search for updated drivers to update your webcam driver.
After successfully starting the Webcam Recorder, it's time to tweak the settings. Carry out the following tasks:
- Webcam: Select the input microphone from the Microphone list. You can utilize the system's microphone or connect and select an external microphone.
- Microphone: Tap the Start manually and end after checkbox under this option to select your preferred recording duration. You can also use the Start and end on schedule checkbox to choose a start and end time based on the date, month, or even year. Please keep in mind that you may only select one checkbox at a time.
- Video Resolution: In the Resolution option, select the output resolution. It's important to remember that the higher the resolution, the better the quality and the larger the file size.
- Finally, select an output format from the Format drop-down menu. The webcam video can be exported to MP4 or AVI video formats.
Finally, press the REC button and wait three seconds for your computer to start recording you. If you're happy with the results, click Stop and shut the recording window. By clicking the Open button, you may see a preview of your video. By tapping the Share option, you may even upload directly to Vimeo.
Note: You can import this clip back into Wondershare UniConverter for additional edits and alterations if you want to.
