Add Media Files
The media files to be converted can be added to the UniConverter interface from different sources like system, device, camcorder, and media browser. The step by step guide to add media files from different sources to the software interface is given below.
Add Media Files using the Buttons
Run the UniConverter and choose the Convert section from the main interface. Hit on the + Add Files button to load media files from the local system or click on the inverted triangle next to + Add Files to expand the drop-down list of the sources from where media files can be added.
1. Add Folder: A complete folder from your system can be added to the interface using this button.
2. Add from Device: Media files from the connected iPhone, Android phone, and other devices can be added using this button.
3. Add from Camcorder: Media files from the connected camcorder can be added using this button.
Situation 1: Add Files or Add Folder
Clicking on this button will launch a File Explorer from where you can choose the media files to be converted and then hit on the Load button to add them to the program interface.
Situation 2: Add media files from Device or Camcorder
Clicking on the Load from Device or Load from the Camcorder button will open the list of the files present on the connected device or the camcorder. Select the files to be processed and click on Add to List button that import the selected files to the program interface.
Adding Media files using Drag and Drop
UniConverter supports drag and drop feature as well for adding the media files. Open the File Explorer window that contains the files to be processed. Next, choose the files and then drag and drop them to the iSkysoft software interface.
Adding media files from the Media Browsers (Mac Only)
On the top-right corner of the software, interface click on the Media Browsers button that will open a pop-up window displaying the option for Movies, iTunes, Photo Booth, and Disc Drive.
Choose the desired option and the list of media files present will be shown. Select the files to be processed and then hit on the + sign at the bottom-left corner to load them to the software interface.
Know about the Conversion List
The added files will appear on the UniConverter interface as a conversion list. The left-hand side of the section shows the Source file details like its format, resolution, time, and size. Under the added file thumbnail image, the editing icons for Cut, Crop, and Effects are present.
The right-hand side of the interface is for the Target file information. This section can be used to select the output file format, resolution, presets, audio, as well as a subtitle track.
If you want to remove any of the added files from the conversion list, click on the X sign present at the top-right corner of the desired file.
