Add Media Files
Before you can begin converting media files, you must first import them into Wondershare UniConverter (formerly Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate). Adding files can be done in a variety of ways.
Use buttons to add media files
To add files from other sources, either click the Document icon in the top-left corner of the window directly or click the inverted triangle icon beside it and select one of the options from the drop-down list.
1. Add Files: From here, you can add all of the files on your computer.
2. Add Folder: From here, you can combine all of the files into a single folder.
3. Add from Device: You can use the linked device to add files.
4. Adding Files from a Camcorder: You can add files from a camcorder that is linked to your computer.
Situation 1: Add Files or Add Folder
If you click Add Files or Add Folder, a File Explorer window will appear. To add files to the conversion queue, locate and select the files you want to convert, then click Open.
Situation 2: Add media files from Device or Camcorder
If you click Add from Device or Add from Camcorder, a window called Add Files from Device will appear. To add files to the conversion queue, find and select the files you want to convert, then click Add to Convert List.
Drag and drop media files into place
Drag and drop the media files you want to convert from the File Explorer window into Wondershare Uniconverter's conversion queue (originally Wondershare Video Converter Ultimate).
Introduction to the conversion list
The files will display in the conversion list once you've added them. You can check file information, select audio and subtitle tracks, and manage the output file from here. On the left, you can view the media information and editing section for the input files, and on the right, you can handle the format and presets for the output files.
Click the X button in the top-right corner of a file to remove it from the list.
