Part 1. How to Make a Video Smaller on Mac - 3 Easy Steps!
Step 1. Run iSkysoft video compressor and add video on Mac
Open the software on your Mac after successfully downloading and installing it on your system. From the main interface, click on the Toolbox tab and select Video Compress option. A pop-up window will appear where you can click on the + icon to browse and add video to be compressed.
Step 2. Choose Compression settings
A new Compress Video window open as the file is added showing the original information of the file. You can select the compression settings by either choosing the parameter values manually, or by moving the compression bar to select the compression percentage. Step 1. Add video files to iSkysoft Video Compressor
Open the iSkysoft software on your Windows PC and click on +Add Files on the Convert tab to add local video files. Multiple files can be added if you desire to process a batch.
Step 2. Choose the target format
Next, you need to select the output format for the added file. Open the drop-down options at Convert all files to: option. Choose the desired format from the list.
Step 3. Select Compression settings
Individual file compression settings window can be opened by clicking on the compress icon on the Target menu. From the pop-up window select parameters of the file or move the compression bar to choose the settings. Preview of the file for 20 seconds can be done by clicking on the Preview button. Hit on OK button to confirm the settings.
Alternatively, you can also batch compress the videos. For the batch selection of target format, open drop-down menu at Convert all files to: option on the top-right corner and then select the format from the Video tab. Click on the +Create Custom button to open file settings window and select file parameters here for the compression. Click on Create button to confirm the changes. The changes will apply to all of the added videos.
Step 4: Convert and Compress videos
At Windows PC, the file location where processed files are saved can be selected at the Output tab. Finally hit on Convert All button. The compressed files can be managed from the Converted tab.
