On the Target menu, click on Compress icon that will open a new pop-up window. Here change the video parameters like size, resolution, quality, and bit rate so as to compress the file. Method 2: Going LIVE with the videos

Another method to upload a long video is by sharing the Live video rather than by adding the recorded video from your phone library. Instagram allows adding a LIVE video up to an hour. These videos are visible to the followers for the next 24 hours. These Live videos appear just like an Instagram story on your account.

Step 1: Open your Instagram account and on the top-left corner, click on the Camera icon.

Part 4. About Instagram Video Size, Frame, Resolution Limitation

Instagram has a set limit to the size, time, and other parameters for the videos that can be added to the site.

Video length: As a post, a maximum of 60 seconds videos can be added to Instagram. You can add one full video or multiple clips with a total length of 60 seconds. As a story, the video length has to be between 3 to 15 seconds.

Instagram video resolution: There is no limit to the height of the video, but the maximum allowed width size is 1080 pixels.

Size of the video: Though there is no specific size defined, it is recommended to keep it below 50MB.
