good quality conversion to mp4
I convert a flv video to mp4 for my ipod,so i did the conversion in Video Converter Free, but the result was pixelated and bad quality,this video converter do the job very well (good quality conversion to mp4) so try this.

I''ve been meaning to write this for over one year - it''s been SO good that I''ve actually forgotten to write about it! I use this product to take videos from my daughter''s field hockey games that have been professionally recorded as VOB files onto DVDs. I convert the files to basic MP4 files, and then use iMovie to make highlight films to send to colleges. I started with the Free Trial and bought quickly. Extremely powerful yet very user friendly. Surprised at how flexible it is as well. My needs are quite basic and limited, but I am sure I could do a lot more with it if I needed to. I love backing up my library, and being able to put movies onto my iPads/iPhones for traveling, and other uses. So easy! Wish I knew more about the audio/video functions to "tweak" them more, but know what I need to do, and know enough of the basics and just have everything set to "Auto", so it''s very easy. My one thing is, a LOT of my audio is softer than some of the background music in the movies, and it''s hard to hear. The music is REALLY loud, and the audio is barely audible, and I wonder if there''s some kind of setting for that? Like I said -- I don''t know enough about it, but I haven''t figured it out. Thank goodness for volume control keys for me! For the users who say there''s no upgrades? What? I get an auto update just about every time I use it (probably about once/month). Shows they''re on top of their software. Thank you!
Good but not great
For some reason iSkysoft does not list v4.4.2 which is what I have and I don''t know why. I''ve come back to look for an upgrade but they''ve done nothing since 9/14. What I find is that this Deluxe version is a fine offering except for the fact that it over-utilizes my system RAM memory. I''m sporting 20G of RAM on a Mac Pro and when I convert a bevy of files from AVI to MP4 everything on the system slows considerably. If I run a movie audio is fine but display halts and spurts. I run several other media converters without the problem so it comes down to poor memory management with iMedia Deluxe. Please fix this iSkysoft. You''ve got a good product here, just improve upon it more.

Coverting with Blazing speed
I downloaded the iSkysoft Video Converter Trial version and tested AVI format conversion. It is taking only 10 minutes for 3 hours film and only 5 minutes for 2 hours film. Other formats are taking 1 and 1/2 an hour for converting but when comparing with other software''s this is Speed. For example others will take 2 and 1/2 to 3 hours for converting. Really this is easy to use.

I love the qaulity that this program outputs my videos. I have tried many other converters for any file extension to dvd and my video would always pixel-ate in the movie and would drive me nuts!! I just wish that we could be able to add subtitles to the movie and have a way to turn them off if we don''t need them in our final output. But other then that, awesome!

I'm really not sure why this line of products advertised in various places on the web made me a little nervous... is this a legit product that's going to be helpful and worth spending money on? The answer is... yes. Yes, yes, yes. It's so much faster, less complicated and intelligent than Handbrake or the RealPlayer Converter or the DivX converter or half a dozen other converters I have tried. So glad I picked it up. I'll say that it inspired me to try some of their other products and they have also been winners. So buy with confidence. Really think you'll find, like I have, that this becomes an essential tool very quickly.

Just what I needed
I have created several projects using iMovie in HD (1920 x1080p). Unfortunately the only means to create a DVD directly is to have iMovie send the file to IDVD. iDVD is not readily available commercially, so I had to use eBay to obtain a copy. However, it is not capable of writing in HD and has no Blu-Ray capability. I have since purchased an ASUS 12X Blu-Ray Writer and Aiseesoft's Blu-Ray Ripper for Mac. The writer only comes with software for Windows. However it is recognized as a burn device by Mavericks OS on my iMac. They worked well together for straightforward Blu-Ray and DVD burning, with many output file format options. Since then I discovered iSkysoft iMedia Converter Deluxe for Mac. It does everything I was able to do plus more, with its ability to build menus for disks with multiple videos. This is exactly what I needed. The software is easy to install, easy to use and most important, it works. Highly recommended. My only suggestion is that iSkysoft refine the menu templates and add more that are less thematic.

I've tried loads of video converters, but ISkysoft is, by far, the best. It's super fast; mp4 > avi (length: 40 mins) takes roughly 5 minutes. The others converters I've used take about 2 hours. I tried the trial and just had to buy it. I've had it for a day, and I've already recommended to my friend, who wants to buy it.

It's great, only one feature is missing
I bought this to convert some files to MPEG-1 in a hurry. It all worked reliably and well, and I was very pleased. I think it offers great value for money. However it would be nice if the dimensions of the input video were automatically set as the output to save some time. Also if presets could be used and modified without saving a new preset - like an ad hoc setting based on a preset, that would add some great functionality.

Simply the best AND quickest there is!
I've tried sooo many video conversion tools over the years, and they take forever and produce terrible quality. To show how good this bit of software is I really only need to give one example... 14 minutes to convert a 3.9gb 1280px mkv to mp4... with NO LOSS in quality... and on a 7 year old Mac Mini!!! I don't know what sort of insane developers you have and what they've been swiping from Gandalfs soggy pockets to get the conversion speeds this quick, but I've genuinely never been more impressed with a bit of software! So go give them all a payrise ;) On top of that (although the speed an quality make it a must buy on their own), there's loads of options, really simple and clear to use, and a lovely UI on top of it all. Can't recommend this enough!!

I use this programme a lot! The last change - adding the possibilities to change brightness, etc... is a big improvement! One thing I don't approve is the change in how to merge. The update before you could merge some videos and leave some videos like they were. Now there is only one choice: merge or not... Last time I forgot to switch off the merge - wondering where the different videos were gone... I prefer the way to merge before the last update.

New Version Needs Tweaks
I have used this product in three different forms, and have been very pleased overall. With version 4.0.1, the ability to subdivide DVDs into chapters has either been removed, or is so obscure, that I cannot find it. We use short video clips in a classroom setting, so downloading a single chapter takes only a few minutes, as opposed to downloading an entire movie, which can take hours. I am considering rolling back to the previous version while hoping the feature might eventually be restored.
Better and not better
I used the version 2.3.2 for a long time before i upgraded to v4 now. The look and feel is better and the results and speed, too. But some features of the former version are gone or moved to a strange position: why have you changed and deleted good software features? Examples: 1. The snapshot feature has been moved to the playback, totally stupid (you must select the files separately i.e. twice). 2. After a conversion is done, you cannot redo it with another setting (to see differences). You have to delete the list and reselect the files. That's no good useability. 3. I haven't found a possibility to do my own video settings, but important resolutions are missing. You have to input them every time. 4. I couldn't use different resolution and aspect ratio any more. What is that for? Why did you remove such a strong feature? Please, please change the v4 to a better v4.1 using the good features of 2.3.2!!! Thx

Audio area could be improved
Conversion allows only to keep one audio track. I very often have MPEG2 movies with two audio tracks (german/english) and would like to keep them during conversion. Seems to be a feature that is still missing ....

Awesome Media Management!
This is an amazing media management software program for an unbeatable price. Love that I can download videos quickly and easily right from YouTube and other video sharing sites as well as extract audio which is a huge bonus for me. The audio extraction feature alone pays for the software! This makes it so easy to manage and share my videos, as well as manage all of the enhancements. Everything is in one place so it’s easy to do everything all at once from ripping audio files to burning DVD’s. It’s great to have all of this in one program, especially one that is compatible with a Mac.

Great All Around!
I use Final Cut, Motion and Compressor everyday, but when I want to port my end files to mobile, or to the iTV, this program is the one I choose. I have backed up my DVD's and have converted them all to HD to watch off my hard drives on the TV - this is a deluxe version that allows me to batch a lot of files when I am off at work!

My favorite thing about this converter? Choose your device: ipod, iphone, ipad, whatever and it converts the video when you click ok. No need to learn about mov, avi, etc!

I love the speed of the conversion. It goes by so fast! I can't believe I almost regret buying this great software. I had a free one in the past that took hours to convert small clips. Seems to manage a large number of formats. I used it to convert AVCHD files to .mp4. Very simple to use, just select an output folder, put your files to the list, click a start button, and let it run, all will be done in seconds. Great product!

While I love almost every aspect of this product, I was concerned at it's inability to maintain it's metadata. Since I only used the free trial version, I was wondering if this is something that's enabled with the paid product?
Best Choice Out There!
I love that this converter maintains the original quality of the video that so many converters today lose, that crisp effect gone, especially if you need to do it more than once for different projects. Plus, the editing effects are so COOL!!! Not only can you overlay text (yes, I know many converters can do this), but it can do so much more. Truly great product.

It seems there is no end to the formats this product can convert. I used to have such trouble finding an accurate converter for the videos on my BlackBerry...it's easy to get frazzled with all the options out there! This changed everything for me. Thanks for creating such a grade-A product!

So many converters don't quite sync up when it comes to the audio, so I was very pleased with this product's ability to do this correctly.

used this software for several months, works nice.
almost perfect for my need but...
I tried almost all other video converter to convert from mts to mp4, none gave me the lossless quality I was looking for. This one does after you tweaked the setting a little. However, one glaring fault is that it doesn't give you the option to preserve the metadata. So when I import hundreds of my old clips into iMovie, it doesn't jive with the actual timeline in which the video was taken. Now I have to "touch" each file in bash. No extremely happy about it. Hopefully the preserve metadata can be added in future releases.

Yes, Ultimate!
When they say Ultimate, they mean ultimate. Why? What doesn't it do? I was able to take some very old DVD rips in ISO format and convert them to play perfectly on my Kindle Fire. Awesome!
